Bower Reuse & Repair Centres is an environmental charity committed to keeping usable goods in circulation and reducing waste sent to landfill.

The Bower is a reuse centre, not a recycling or waste disposal centre. We accept good-quality items that can be reused, including timber household furniture, general household goods, bicycles, electrical appliances and building materials. We cannot accept items solely for recycling or disposal.

Items donated to The Bower are sold to the community at affordable prices or used to furnish housing for survivors of domestic and family violence, formally homeless people and people seeking asylum through our House to Home program.

Donations can also be brought to our Marrickville shopfront during the following hours:

Monday–Friday: 10am–5pm

Saturday: 10am–3pm

Sunday: 10am–3pm
