URBAN residential properties that receive a weekly collection of a red lidded waste bin. (Excludes most rural areas)

Council provides an annual kerbside collection for bulky wastes. There are two streams collected, one is for scrap metal and whitegoods, the other is for all other bulky waste. Fridges and freezers are collected separately and are degassed before being recycled. Collections are generally held in February/March each year.
